About Marietta

I have experience working with students anywhere from Pre-K through college level. I have tutored one-on-one, group formats, in-person and online, as well as university settings. I hold a B. A. in English with a concentration in ESL. My background includes individualized instruction in reading comprehension, grammar, composition, language development, level assessment and both academic and professional writing. My heart is to help struggling students become confident and effective communicators. As a homeschooling parent myself, I value meeting students where they are and creating a supportive learning environment and individualized plan, tailored to each student's unique strengths and goals. I am passionate about equipping students with the skills they need to succeed academically, while developing a lifelong love of learning and confidence in both written and spoken communication. Evening and weekend sessions are currently available.
