About Marie

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, fun & dedicated. I love working with kids because I get to see them experience things for the first time, develop their personalities & interests, & grow. I also enjoy being a part of their support system & helping them achieve their goals. I'm looking for a job with reliable hours, good communication, & some flexibility. I started working with kids at age 11, first as a mother's helper & then as a babysitter. I babysat/nannied through high school & college. Before moving back to NH, I nannied for three families regularly in TX while working full time at a dermatology office. I also have 4 nephews (ages 18m-12) and 2 nieces (ages 1 and 4) who I have helped to take care of for 12 years. In my spare time I usually read, walk, & listen to music. I believe in being true to yourself and encouraging children to think for themselves. My skills include redirecting, handling big emotions, and helping the child and their environment stay clean.
