About Marie

I'm looking for a position that allows me to make a difference in someone's day to day life, through care with dignity. I believe the role of a caregiver is provide quality care with dignity and respect. My preferred role is to provide services that will allow the client to maintain as much independence as possible while also supporting them with any personal services necessary for day to day life. I have learned to work with a wide range of medical conditions as well as medical equipment. I have worked with clients that have Parkinson's, MS, Dementia, Cancer, advanced age and end of life. I have experience with both mechanical transfers and physical transfers as well as draw sheets and other tools used for safe comfortable transfers. I am a state certified Personal Support Specialist and have taken the recommended state mandated reporter training. I have references from families I am currently working with as well as families I have worked with in the past.
