Hello all! During my first year of nursing school I worked in 3 long term care facilities with adults whom were independent to completely dependent on the staff for assistance. I truly love working with the elderly population as it makes me very happy and satisfied knowing I am doing good. I instantly made so many connections with the residents and truly looked forward to seeing them each day, I love to hear their stories, sit, play card games, watch game shows and all of it!! Also working in this field for years also makes me realize the bad sides of the elderly care industry and truly believe if you want to work in this field it should be your passion.
