Hi, I'm Mariel! I earned my B. A. in Psychology with minors in Child & Family Development and Spanish from SDSU in 2014 and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I'm 33, originally from San Diego, and moved to the South Bay with my family two years ago. I'm a proud mom to two girls, ages 4 and 1. I have over 10 years of childcare experience, including 4+ years as a preschool teacher working with infants through school-age kids, 3+ years as a behavior therapist, and 3 years as a nanny, along with extensive babysitting. Mariel is the absolute best! She’s reliable, dependable and sweet. She knows what she doing and you can trust her with your child. She was my babysitter with my then 8 mo old son. She works with my family for a year. It was impressive to see how caring she was toward me and my son (even if she was pregnant with her second baby!). We had to say goodbye only because we moved. You’d be very lucky to have a person like her to rely on.
