About Marielle

As a youth, I was trusted to babysit children in my neighborhood. I always understood the immense responsibility associated with childcare, having had many babysitters as a child. I still look back and remember my favorite babysitter. She was kind and creative and I loved getting to play games with her, make crafts, and make beloved recipes. I have a Master's in Education and worked in youth development for over 12 years, ensuring that afterschool and summer programs were high-quality and places where children/youth could develop a love of learning. I have also completed the Stewards of Children training. I am child-centered and will want to align care with their interests and your needs/wants as their primary caregivers. My husband and I are hoping to start a family soon. I am excited to both support your family as well as my own!
