About Mariela

Hello! My name is Mariela and I'm a student pursuing a masters in social work. Im seeking a part time job within childcare. I have experience teaching elementary and middle school children. Outside of education I have experience taking care of several children from new born to 3 years of age. As a graduate student, I'm able to bring friendliness patients and creativity to every interaction. I'm comfortable carrying for two children at a time while engaging them in imaginative play, crafting, educational activities, and board games. I'm very passionate about being nourishing to children as they develop. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, and have my First Aid Certification. In addition to this, I'm also certified in youth mental health first aid, crisis prevention, and healthy aging certificate. In addition to this, I also have my fingerprint clearance card.
