About Marie

I'm a warm, caring, and genuinely happy person. I have always loved working with children. I believe children need someone who will listen, encourage, laugh with them and make them feel special. I'm a retired school teacher. Working with children has been such a meaningful part of my life. I'm also a very proud Nana of 10 grandchildren. I love gettingdown on their level, listening to their stories, answering their endless questions, and finding little ways to make an ordinary day fun. I believe children need both kindness and gentle guidance. I'm patient and nurturing, but I can also be gently firm when necessary. I respect a child's feelings and personal space, while always being there to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a little encouragement. Most importantly, I am someone who truly cares. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and caring part of your child's life and to help them learn, laugh, and discover all the wonderful things the world has to offer.
