About Marie

I just moved to Santa Fe in June with my girlfriend and we're very excited to make our home here. For the last 6 months, I've been traveling but before that I worked and lived in Wisconsin on a year-long contact as a community organizer. As you can imagine the last 18 months have been busy, but before that things were more calm has I had full-time nonprofit work in DC where I also babysat for two little boys for five years. I have also provided short-term child care for a variety of families, including multiple overnights and weekends. My day job was previously in nonprofit communications and organizing but I am hoping to do more caretaking as a primary job! I don't have professional experience helping to care for older folks, but I am caring, empathetic, love to chat with all kinds of people, detail-oriented, and am ready to take instruction.
