About Marie

I created the Art and Pottery after-school program currently running at the Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA where I taught children of all ages for over 10 years. I worked as a substitute and pottery teacher at Media Providence Friends School and as an acting teacher at Hedgerow Theater. I began my training in childcare at the Brandywine YMCA, where I worked as a wilderness trip counselor. I have completed in person CPR training certification twice and in 2020 completed Red Cross online Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certification. The YMCA created a "safety first" mentality which puts my abilities as a childcare provider at a higher level. My curriculum as a nanny is based in reading, because reading is the key to creating a lifetime love of learning. I can provide innumerable references to my outstanding ability to provide a safe, happy and educational environment for your children.
