About Marie J

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the foundation of my teaching philosophy. With three years of experience, I specialize in helping students from elementary school through the college level master diverse subjects ranging from mathematics and science to the arts and test preparation. I assess your individual learning style by actively listening and observing how you interact with new material. I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to ensure concepts resonate. To keep you engaged, I connect challenging topics to your personal interests and celebrate every small success along the way. I believe clear communication is essential to building the trust necessary for your growth. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing your "aha!" moment as your confidence flourishes. I look forward to partnering with you to achieve your academic goals and seeing you succeed.
