About Marie

Hi! My name is Marie. I'm currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, double majoring in Psychology and Biology on a Pre-Med track with the goal of becoming a pediatric neuropsychologist. I've always loved working with kids, and I bring enthusiasm to every family I work with. In the past, I've worked as a certified lifeguard, at summer camps, and most recently, as a hostess at Tsunami in Downtown Frederick. Through these i've learned how to multitask, balance safety, maintain calm in stressful situations, and have fun. I'm comfortable with kids of all ages and am happy to help with pets as well! I love engaging children in creative and active play, from arts and crafts to baking and outdoor games. I have my own transportation and am available to help with pick-ups and drop-offs. I'm looking forward to getting to know your family and creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for your kids (and pets)! *I've been CPR trained and plan to renew my certification soon*
