About Marie

Working with young minds is more than a job; it's my passion! My previous nannying experiences, including four years with the same family, and my experience in social work for foster youth built skills needed to care for the unique and individual needs of children and teens. I strive to create a stimulating and safe environment, and am comfortable working with all ages from newborns to teens. I'm patient, friendly, and have been able to bond with even the most shy children including those with behavioral challenges (this is where the social work background comes in handy!) I'm also certified in CPR and First Aid. I can assist with cooking, housekeeping, and transportation in addition to supervision. I communicate with parents through daily reports and updates, but can tailor them to your preferred method of communication. I find immense joy in witnessing children learn and grow, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your family!
