Growing up, my grandmother was one of my dearest companions. She taught me how to quilt and embroidery. We watched Shirley Temple, Matlock and other programs in black-and-white and may 80's favorites. She taught me how to cook and equipped me with great moral/Godly lessons. And thanks to her I'm pretty good at card gams. When I went through divorce, I moved onto the same property as Grandma and we took care of each other. She was 82 at that time. It's been nine years now! For two of those years, I was her primary caregiver through IHSS. I provided for: bathing/ dressing, medication management, juggling 5 different health care doctors (including cancer remission) appointments, transportation, grocery shopping, and of-course friendship. I would very much enjoy being company for your elderly loved one.
