During my 20+ years of experience in adult senior care, I had the privilege to take care of wonderful patients such as the elderly needing help with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, exercise and companionship. I also work with patients with Alzheimer's, Stroke, Quadriplegic, Paraplegic, Dementia, Parkinson, MS, ALS and the terminally ill. I am a certified Nursing assistant (CNA) and home health aide (HHA) with up to date First Aid, CPR and AED certification. I am also experienced with sliding board, Hoyer lifts, stand lift etc... Marie provided exceptional care for three years as my father's health issues grew increasingly complex. She gave practical advice from small items (good hand lotion) to large (essential equipment as Dad's mobility declined). She always treated Dad with love, respect, and good humor, even when he was stubborn and confused. She modeled for us us the effective and loving responses to his changing personality as his dementia increased. In the last year or so, Marie took on greater responsibility as our Mom's mental capacities declined. Again, Marie showed great patience and good humor as she she managed the care for both with grace. In addition to providing companionship and physical care, Marie provided housekeeping services, keeping the home exceptionally clean and orderly in addition to grocery shopping, other errands, and taking Mom and Dad on outings. Marie provided round-the-clock care and remained a steady presence even when her sleep was interrupted. She kept excellent records of daily medications, food intake, elimination and so on, while also sending messages with photos and videos so even the far flung children knew what our parents were doing. Marie was an asset to our whole family, giving thorough and loving care to the physical, social, and emotional needs of our increasingly frail and confused elders. Marie became an essential part of our family and provided comprehensive care to the very end. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Marie is a highly skilled and compassionate person. She treats her patients as she would her own family attending in detail to their happiness, hygiene and health! She is able to to do every aspect of home care with a peaceful, calm attitude and communication style. She did shopping, housekeeping, meal prep and laundry as well as round the clock care for my parents who she treated like a king and queen. Marie is especially good with medical issues because of her background in nursing and her attention to every detail. 

Marie has been a blessing! She is kind and patient, no matter how the day is going. She is with our mom 10 hours a day. Marie provides support while my mom does her personal care, ensure meds are taken on time, assists mom on the stairs, does the laundry, sees to meals as my mom needs, drives to appointments, shopping etc. Marie has always kept the family updated on our mom's progress. She treats our mom with kindness and respect, as she would treat her own mom. Marie has been with my mom for over two months and is transitioning to another position as my mom no longer needs the level of support or the number of hours of support Marie has been providing. We will miss Marie!

We hired Marie to help our mother after she suffered from a fractured pelvis. Marie was a gift to all of us. She is kind, mild mannered, insightful and knowledgeable about caring for the elderly. We were fortunate that with Marie's care our mother recovered beautifully. Any family would be very lucky to have her!!!

Marie cared for my father as he was doing his best to live with and eventually pass away from ALS. I don't know what we would have done without her. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, competent, calm and caring. At the end of his life, she stayed by his side for four days straight to help him, the other caregivers, and my mother and I get through his passing. We could not have asked for a better guide or caregiver than Marie. I will never forget how incredible she was. I cannot imagine what we would've done without her. She knew everything to look out for. She helped us be less afraid. She kept us going in the midst of unbearable sadness. She took such wonderful care of my father. She took such wonderful care of us. I hope we are all so lucky as to have someone like Marie by our side at the end, and for as many of the good days before that as possible. I recommend her unconditionally and with my whole heart.

Marie was one of the caregivers who helped us through the 2 yrs my husband suffered from ALS. She is the gold standard of caregivers. She is very skilled in nursing, filled with compassion, and makes excellent judgement calls. She trained all of our other caregivers and was deeply respected by all of us, most especially my husband. She is incredibly competent, including with all of the machinery used by ALS patients (bi-pap, cough assist machine, feeding tube, hoyer lift, wheelchair, etc.). 

She is on time, organized and I don't know what we'd have done without her expert help at a time when it was desperately needed. Because of Marie, my husband received the very best care possible. When the end was nearing, Marie stayed round the clock. She helped us through my husbands last days and hours. She is most amazing and wonderful. 

Whoever is lucky enough to be cared for by Marie will be in capable hands. I recommend her with a full heart and without the slightest reservation.

Marie is amazing. She is kind caring and very knowledgeable. She truly is an angel. My aunt is completely bed ridden and Marie stepped right in and has taken care of all her many needs without hesitation. Knowing she is there has set my mind at ease. What an incredible caregiver! I live in Washington and my parents live in Massachusetts. I was put in the desperate situation of caring for parents that needed urgent assistance and siblings that call themselves health care professionals but have absolutely no idea of what the word care means. Marie stepped in, inside of the family turmoil and focused solely on my parents that needed care. She thoroughly impressed me and lifelong health care professionals here in Washington that will care for them in the future and put us all at ease. My parents had to come to Washington to find a memory care facility. I fetched them and upon their return to New Hampshire where they have to arrange the move across country Marie stepped in again. She went above and beyond again dealing with disgusting behavior from siblings and ensuring that the people she had to care for were properly cared for.
