Making a positive impact on the lives of others is my primary goal as a caregiver. My motivation stems from a deep passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors, coupled with positive experiences in previous care roles. I understand the importance of providing families with a reliable care option. I am patient, calm, compassionate, empathetic, professional, and detail-oriented. I follow the family's preferred communication method to keep them informed about their loved one's well-being and address any concerns. Creating a comfortable environment is important to me when building a connection with a care recipient. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion or agitation, and incorporating memory care activities. As a home health aide with some college education, I provide respite care, home health, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and physical activity.
