About Maribel

Hi! I'm Maribel, a warm, energetic, and deeply nurturing caregiver based in Ooltewah, TN. I bring over 20 years of childcare experience, including work as a nanny through high school and college, 18 years as a stay-at-home mom to my two children (whom I homeschooled for a few years), and time spent as a private tutor and elementary school teacher's aide. I've worked with children of all ages - from newborns to preteens - and I bring a confident, competent presence that puts both kids and parents t at ease. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and I love to integrate language learning, reading, hands-on activities, and outdoor play into the day. I also love to play and engage with kids. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I avoid screen time and instead focus on active, meaningful connection - whether that's helping with homework, organizing games, or simply being present and patient. I treat every child in my care like one of my own and would be honored to support your family.
