About Maria

I have experience working in a nursing home, where I helped residents with their daily needs while making sure they felt comfortable, safe, and respected. My day to day responsibilities included assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and getting around, as well as following each person's care plan and watching for any changes in their condition. I also have experience working in memory care with individuals who have Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. In this setting, I learned how important patience, kindness, and understanding are, especially during moments of confusion or anxiety. I focused on creating a calm, supportive environment and building trust with each individual. I truly enjoy connecting with the people I care for and treat everyone like family. I'm reliable, attentive, and take pride in being someone families can feel confident trusting with their loved ones.
