About Maria

Hello! My name is Maria, I'm 26 years old from Colombia, and currently living in the U. S. I'm a kind, loving, and responsible person with a positive attitude. I enjoy learning, helping others, and creating meaningful connections, especially with children. I have many years of experience caring for kids of all ages, including babies. I came to the U. S. as an au pair and spent 2 years with a host family caring for two children (ages 3 and 5). Currently, I work with a wonderful family and have been with them for nearly 2 years. The children were 17 months and 3 years old when I started. Now that they're starting school, the family won't need full-time care. My responsibilities for both families include: meal prep, kids' laundry, school drop-offs/pick-ups, drive them to the park, nap/bath time, diapers, crafts and education activities, ensuring a safe, loving, and playful environment. I also helped with house cleaning and cared for the family's pets, including dogs and a cats.
