About Maria

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, understanding and honest I like caring for children Because they bring me joy. I think they are a blessing. I started babysitting when I was in middle school for my 3 little sisters. I grew up in a very large family and have over 40 cousins younger then me. I have babysit most of them. I have my own children and grandchild. I was a school volunteer every week in the class room, volunteered for field trips, was a girl scout troop leader, an assistant Sunday school teacher and a candy striper at MMC when in high school. I volunteered to play with the sick children in the play room and go rock the sick babies. I also attended UNE for Medical Biology with a minor in Elementary Education. I have since returned to update my teaching certification. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, paint, write and fish. My skills include writing and teaching.
