About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria, and I'm a nursing student with a strong background in math and science. I offer tutoring for elementary and middle school students and enjoy helping kids build confidence in subjects that may feel challenging. I'm patient, encouraging, and able to explain concepts in different ways depending on how each student learns best. I can help with homework, test preparation, reviewing difficult topics, or strengthening foundational skills in math and science. My goal is to create a positive, comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through problems at their own pace. My nursing education has given me an especially strong foundation in science, problem-solving, and critical thinking, and I'd love to use those skills to help your student succeed!
