Maria was a godsend to our family and we absolutely adore her. I initially met Maria a few years back at a playground when I was at home with my second baby and she was caring for another child, and I was very impressed with how engaged and caring she was with that child. I remember making a mental note to myself to have her as a nanny if we ever needed one. Years passed, we had a third baby, and stars aligned, and we had the opportunity to have her as a caregiver. And she had been a true gift to our family. Not only, she was always very playful, caring, sweet to our then two year old, who adored her, but she was able to make sweet and lasting connections with our older children as well. Most importantly, she has been incredibly reliable, trustworhy, and always there when we needed extra support. Raising kids, when you are away from your family is hard, and Maria made it easy by becoming a part of our family. We wish we continued to have her but we had to move across the state for a job change. Anyone who has her as a caregiver would be so lucky.
