About Maria

I'd describe my personality as Positive, Organized, Adaptable I like working with kids because of their curiosity and energy. Helping kids build their confidence, develop a positive mindset and supporting them is rewarding to me. As a psychology major I am passionate about youth development! I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. I used to be a dance teacher up until the age of 18. I started baby sitting during that time as well. I have also worked in a clinic for kids that need physical, occupational, and speech therapy. I have also worked on dance summer camps and at Neuron garage growth mindset camp! In my spare time, I like to do yoga, homework, and hangout with friends! One thing you should know about me is I am in my 3rd year of college as psychology major. I also speak spanish. My skills include I can calm down a melt down. I am a good emotional support. I have CPR training.
