Where to begin? I have a 2 year daughter and a 4 year old Shiba Inu. And I, to put it mildly, am a helicopter Mom, to put it frankly, I am the most protective Mom. In the e past whenever my daughter’s daycare was closed I would take PTO, to be with her. However I recently started a new job and I didn’t have that opportunity yet. And because of my new job and my record of taking PTO in the past I put the responsibility of arranging childcare on my daughter’s father. At first I was completely against him using an app to find a caretaker for my daughter. He had never arranged childcare care before, he had never taken PTO to watch our daughter. I thought this was going to be a huge mess. We had asked Maria to come over to meet us and our daughter. Upon meeting her she was absolutely lovely! Maria’s focus was strictly on my daughter. And I started to feel more comfortable but I needed some extra reassurance. I reached out to Maria and asked her to come over again so I could get to know her, and she enthusiastically agreed. And on the first day where Maria was watching my daughter and my puppers I was thrilled to have her! Every day that Maria was here, she would always arrive early and the moment she stepped in my home her focus was my baby. Unprompted, Maria would send me updates like four or five times a day, and that truly impressed me because I never had to worry or wonder. And Maria was so good about keeping my daughter on her routine. Maria absolutely turned all of my anxiety away and she brought such a fun and warm light into our home. Maria is a Diamond! And I am so grateful for her!
