About Maria

We are first time parents who were returning to work. We interviewed a few nanny’s, including Mary and from the start we appreciated her warmth, eagerness to help, flexibility, and proactiveness. She started working for us when our baby girl was 3 months old (born premie). We were nervous to bring someone in because our girl had feeding and sleep challenges. Mary’s extensive experience with newborns and confidence in her ability to help made us feel much more comfortable. She worked with us every step of the way as we would test new strategies to help our baby feed and sleep. Mary paid close attention to all the details and went above and beyond to help our baby be comfortable. We loved that Mary always showed up few min early to every work day and it was especially helpful for me that she would help with light housework, laundry, and organization. As a working first time mom, it was just too much for me to do it all! Mary learned our home quickly and would develop a flow that helped us all. My baby is now 7 months and Mary helps her reach developmental milestones and also integrates and activities we ask her too. She logs everything (diapers, feeds, naps, activities) so that we know whats going on throughout the day. We are very lucky to have found her as we were nervous about finding someone we could trust with the love of our life. Mary works for us part-time since we have family help on other days. We are happy to be used as referral sources for anyone who is considering her.
