About Maria

Fostering a child's growth, development, and well-being is my greatest passion. I am a mother of a 13-year-old with more than a decade of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I have a postgraduate degree focused on behavioral health in children and adolescents, with experience supporting their emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. Spanish is my native language, and I am currently learning English. While my spoken English is limited, I am comfortable using translation tools and especially enjoy working with Spanish-speaking or bilingual families. I am patient, calm, responsible, and creative. I enjoy engaging children through outdoor activities, sports, games, crafts, and educational activities. I am comfortable maintaining routines, setting appropriate boundaries, following household rules, and assisting with light housekeeping. I value open communication with parents and strive to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
