About Maria

I'd describe my personality as loving, caring and patience. I like working with kids because I love being part of their growth and helping them feel safe, loved, and free to explore the world around them . I started working with kids when I worked at a bilingual preschool in my hometown in 2022, where we introduced English. I stayed there for 6 months before moving to Chile, where I worked as a babysitter for two families. Later, I moved to the United States and since May 2024. l've been working full-time as a nanny for a baby. I like planning my week in advance, so I have structure helps me stay calm, creative, and present. My skills include creating structured routines that support emotional and developmental growth, preparing healthy meals, and planning engaging activities based on the child's interests and needs. I'm also skilled in bilingual learning support (English/Spanish), and I follow the Montessori approach and sensorial activities to promote independence.
