I highly recommend Maria! I had the pleasure of having her as a nanny for my two sons for nearly 6 years. She was with our family from Fall 2014, when my elder was 1 month old, until Spring 2021 when we moved away from the city. Maria is an incredibly patient, kind and nurturing woman who has a natural gift for working with children. She is always calm and collected, even in the most challenging situations. She is also very creative and loves to come up with new and exciting activities for the children. Most critically, I never had to worry about my children's safety when they were with Maria. She is always vigilant and takes every precaution to keep them safe. For example, she was aware of traffic patterns and which crossings were more safer than others (we lived in a densely urban area), and never ignored the children to pay attention to her phone. Maria also taught my children to read - a true gift. She was patient and encouraging, and they quickly learned to love reading. At our request, she also spoke to the boys exclusively in Spanish, though she is fully fluent in English (neither my husband nor I speak Spanish). We are still very close with Maria. She is like a member of our family, and we are so grateful for her love and continued support. I am confident that Maria would be an asset to any family. She is a dedicated and loving nanny who would provide your children with the very best possible care.
