About Maria Paula

I have extensive experience in caring for pets, particularly dogs, developed over many years of interacting with and nurturing various animals. My journey began with a Labradoodle who was with me for 13 and a half years, from puppyhood until her passing. Following that, I cared for a Weimaraner, who now lives with my family in Colombia. Currently, I live in the U. S. and have recently welcomed a 6-month-old Mini Goldendoodle into my home. Throughout these experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of dogs' needs, especially during their puppy years and times of illness. As a psychologist, I have honed my ability to observe and interpret behavior, which enables me to recognize subtle cues in animals and respond appropriately to their needs. I prioritize reinforcing positive behaviors with praise and affection, believing that pets deserve the same respect, care, and attention as any family member.
