About Maria

I am an aunt of two beautiful nieces, one who turned four in September and one who was just born in October. I have been taking care of my niece occasionally whenever my brother needs me to. I still go to school so the most convenient time would be after 3 p.m. I actually took care of 2 children last year through care.com and it was a good experience for me. I picked the kids up from school and we walked to their house which was close to the school. Then I made them a snack while they did their homework and watched some t.v. after. Then I would get their pajamas ready and they took a shower while I cooked. After they ate and watched t.v. and played on their Wii. Then I checked their homework and they went to bed. I waited for their parents to come home. Some days I worked until 2 in the morning which was kind of a hassle but I'm very flexible with my schedule. The only thing that made me stop is the pay, sometimes I would work 8 hours and make only 40 dollars which isn't a lot for two kids. Besides that, I enjoy working with children and I love doing activities with kids and going to the park and doing fun stuff.
