HI everyone! My name is Maria and I have professionally caregiving for 6 years but had experience taking care of kids through my family and my church long before that. I love kids! They are funny, sweet, and never stop surprising me! I understand the importance of consistent caregiving for kids/babies so I work closely with the parents to follow the same approach and routine that they follow with the children. I enjoy taking kids to the park, playing make believe, reading books, completing puzzles, and I have been told that I am really good at making crafts with them. I try to keep the experiences varied and also follow the lead of the child as to what they are interested in. With babies, I talk to them all the time so that they get that language experience. Maria took care of our son from age 4-8 months until he was accepted into daycare. It was hard to leave her! She is extremely knowledgeable about kids and focuses on providing an educational and loving environment. She took care of our son as if he was our own. She would send us pictures and would tell us how his day was and would offer advice to help us at home. We took him to her house which was great because then she could be with her son (who is adorable) and she had all the baby gadgets. We never once had to worry about his care. I hope to work with Maria again for our future baby.
