CMA in Florida, California and North Carolina, starting in 1988 when I graduated. I under the complexities involving elderly care and find the work relaxing. I've worked as lead CNA as well as assisting in hospice care. I like to stay busy and am usually tidying up as I work. I have a handicapped plate on my vehicle and can transport to lunch, doctor appointments, grocery stores or church. I have experience with patient transfers using the Hoyer as well as the standard board transfers. I have a close group of women who also do home health and have introduced them to my patients when they needed more days than I had available.
