Hi, I'm Marian! I'm passionate about caring for those with special needs because I have experienced the wonders and frustrations that accompany such care first hand. I grew up in a home with 24-hour nursing care: my brother had a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and utilized a ventilator as well as a wheelchair, and my youngest brother has trisomy-21 Down syndrome. For the past 4+ years I have been working as a DSP for multiple FI's across Long Island with individuals with Down Syndrome, FND, Tourette's, OCD, Leukodystrophies, and those on the ASD Spectrum. I am also an active member of organizations and nonprofits who's work centers around young adults with special needs, serving on their committees and advisory boards in many positions.
