Hello :) my name is Mariana, but usually people call me Mary :) I have more than 10 years of experience working with children of all ages so I know how important it is to provide the kids an individual attention. That's why I choose to study Pedagogy at college. I'm particularly skilled at helping children with their social and emotional needs. I am passionate about providing a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for your child. I'm very organized and I strive to create a clean, safe environment for your child. I also believe in building strong relationships with parents and children in order to provide the best care. I currently work for a family of 3 children for 6 years, and for another family with 2 children for 1 year. I am currently available for occasional work. I consider myself a flexible, organized, patient and dynamic person and I have a great relationship with kids.

Mary is *phenomenal*! Mary has worked with my family for a year now (still going strong, but we know my little one is going to start preschool sometime next year, thus the review now!). I cannot recommend her enough. The most important thing to me in a nanny was that we found somebody who I knew would love my daughter (and occasionally take care of my son, too) and take care of her as if she were her own. Mary has quickly become family, and undoubtedly loves my children like an auntie would love her niece/nephew. She demonstrates this in obvious ways such as photos and taking my little girl on fun "adventures", but also in quiet ways... for example, my neighbors have all told me how wonderful Mary is with my little girl when they are out on walks. Everybody notices and shares with me (without me even asking!) that Mary is constantly engaged with my little girl and is always chatting or singing with her. Furthermore, since my husband works from home, I always get reports of how he hears "happy sounds" constantly throughout the day. (I really want to draw your attention to the fact that Mary is *engaged*!! I always hate seeing nannies at the park just zombied out on their cell phones!) Mary is incredibly patient and has great skill with littles. She has weathered all the big sleep regressions with us, and is usually the first to address the problem and ask how we would like her to handle various leaps/sleep regressions. From a logistical standpoint, it is so important for me to stress that Mary is VERY reliable. I honestly don't know what it would take for her to miss a day of work because I can't recall it happening thus far. Aside from being a wonderful caregiver, Mary has been very helpful around the house. She prepares dinner for us (I often leave ingredients and send a text with a slow cooker recipe), folds the kiddo's laundry, tidies up, and overall really lightens the load of running a house. If you're lucky enough to invite Mary into your house, I strongly encourage you to do so. She's amazing!
