About Mariana

Over the years, I have cared for children in different settings ranging from summer camp to an in-home sitter. The children that I have cared for have range from 3 days to 12 years old. While being a camp counselor at Fred's Camp I was given the opportunity to create and follow a daily schedule including: play time, swim lessons, music class, lunch time, and outdoor sports and recreations. It was here that I had the opportunity to use my creativity while planning interactive and educational activities, communicate with children's parents about daily activities, progress and behaviors. I also encouraged good behaviors using the positive reinforcement method. Over the time of being an in-home sitter, I was able to gain knowledge and experience working and interacting with families of different size and style. I have worked for the same family with four children for three years. I am First Aid Certified and CPR certified. I have reliable transportation.
