My name is Mariana, I am 44years old and work primarily with newborns and toddlers from 0 to 3 years of age. I have a passion for babies, I am a Trained Newborn Care Specialist , New Parent Educator and Postpartum Doula. My philosophy revolves around providing a warm, safe and loving environment where your child can grow and learn through fun and creative ways. I've been a nanny for over 15 years and I do it because I know how to make a difference and how to give the parents peace of mind. My relationships with my former employers have been based on responsibility, communication, honesty and respect. I speak two languages, I love to cook everything from scratch and I believe that it's never to early to read to your baby.

What can I say other than Mariana has been one of the greatest things to come into our lives. As a new mother, I was incredibly anxious to have anyone care for my son, it was literally the scariest thing I ever had to do, but Mariana made it easy. From the first day we met her, her heart and expertise shone through.  N. was four months old when we found Mariana and will be two next month, and she has been with him every step of the way. Not only did Mariana provide the utmost care and love for N., keeping him happy, safe, and developmentally on track throughout the way, but she also offered me the support, guidance, knowledge and security I so desperately needed. Her expertise is unparalleled and the way she cares for the kiddos (and families) she works with is literally a parents dream. At the same time, I have seen Mariana with my son and other children she works with and the love they have for her is equally unquestioned. There are no sufficient words to adequately describe what Mariana has meant to me or my family, but if you are lucky enough to work with her, you will quickly understand.

Mariana is one of the most amazing caregivers I've ever met. She loves your kids like her own. We worked with her for over two years before she and her family moved away from the area -- my daughter was about 9 months when she started as our nanny. Mariana was able to easily take on caring for our son when he was born a little more than a year later. She's warm; is communicative; encourages independence; knows development milestones; is an amazing cook; loves the outdoors and spreads that love to the kids; and spends countless hours reading (even if it's the same book!). 

It is a huge decision selecting a caregiver for your child or children. You need peace of mind that not only will your child be safe but that they will be in a loving environment that encourages development and fun. That is the environment Mariana fosters. As you can tell, I highly recommend Mariana as a nanny and caretaker.

When our son was 6 months old, I was dreading the idea of hiring a nanny. But after a lengthy 2-hour interview, Mariana's patience and graciousness won us over and from that day on, she gradually became a part of our little family for the next two years. She went above and beyond to care for our son, keeping him safe and very happy. The days were filled with fun activities: playdates, libraries, parks, farms, and many more. She had incredible energy and was committed to creating a safe and enriching learning environment for the kids everyday. She paid close attention to each of their needs and encouraged the kids to develop their little personalities, although it sometimes required more time and patience. Our son was excited to go to Na-Na's house every morning, and my husband and I knew he was in good hands. She is trustworthy, dependable and reliable, and all of the kids loved her. 

Mariana made a big difference to our family. She will do so in yours.

Mariana has been a wonderful addition to our family's life and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Here's why:

- We came to be in a situation where we needed supplemental childcare for several months. My then 18 month old son had only been cared for in our house by family members or at my mother-in-law's house. I was originally looking for someone to continue the same routine in the house while I work from home due to comfort for him (and me). After interviewing several candidates and then visiting Mariana at her home with her two young children, I ended up choosing Mariana initially because of her energy, the environment my son would be in and seeing her parenting skills in action.
- Naturally, I was a bit apprehensive at first due to the fact that I've never sent him out of the house before and she was still somewhat of a stranger, but she impressed me more than any of the other candidates we interviewed with so we decided to give it a try. 
- After several months, we have been so pleased with the arrangement and she surpassed our expectations ten-fold. Here are some of the reasons we have loved working with to date:
      - I have hired other caregivers before to come in the home and when reflecting on their care vs. Mariana's-  the other caregivers did fine but seemed more like a babysitter and making sure my son would stay safe, fed, etc. Mariana goes above and beyond to provide enriching opportunities every day for my son to learn and develop  trips to the library, farm, music time in the house, etc. She's cognizant of the milestones he should be experiencing at his age and encourages learning and reports progress back to me without any prompting from me. 
      - She provides the same level of love, comfort and care for my son like she treats her kids. She's genuinely a very kind and down-to-earth person.
      - She's healthy and is always cooking homemade kid-friendly nutritious meals and snacks 
     - Her kids are wonderful and enjoy playing with my son. My son talks about Mariana and her kids long after he's been home or waiting to see them on another day. 
     - She's very flexible if something comes up and we need to reschedule for other days/times. 
     - Overall, it's a great transition for us where he was only cared for at home before sending him to pre-school/day care. He gets experience out of the house and socialization opportunities with her kids and the activities she takes them on. 
     - Most importantly, my son is so happy and comfortable when with her, that's all I could ask for!

Mariana was the first person to care for my daughter. I returned to work when she was three months old and finding the right person as a new mom was very important to me. Mariana was that person! 
My husband and I both knew she was the right fit! I met her at a music class with the other children she was caring for with my daughter. She was organized, stress free and very comfortable with all of the children. She was very attentive to each of the children she was caring for.
My daughter was on a schedule and Mariana stuck to it. She was great about communicating with us and providing the care that such a young baby requires. She was very loving and caring and really bonded with our daughter. We knew that she was getting wonderful care with Mariana. Mariana had her second child while my daughter was going there and the care she provided stayed the same! 
Mariana provides a very loving, fun, caring environment. She is passionate about children and the care she provides! I highly recommend her care!!

Can't say enough great things about Mariana. She took exceptional care of our infant daughter starting when she was around 12 weeks old. Mariana is extremely attentive, thoughtful, creative, and caring. Mariana made sure our daughter was stimulated and learning ? she has a fantastic variety of toys and took her on activities such as trips to the library and walks outside when the weather was nice. Mariana also gave us helpful feedback everyday about how she was developing. She always made sure she was well fed with a variety of tasty foods. 

When Mariana was caring for our daughter, I always felt at ease knowing she was in the best hands. We had an outstandingly great experience with Mariana. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Mariana has cared for our daughter from the age of 7 months (she is now 13 months old). I cannot speak highly enough of Mariana. She cares for our daughter like she cares for her own daughter. She has been extremely flexible with our drop off and pick up times. She takes the kids to different activities throughout the week to keep them entertained and give them a chance to interact with other new children. Overall, our experience with Mariana has been fantastic!

Mariana has been nothing but amazing with my son. She has been taking care of him since he was 6 months old (he is 2 years old now). She always has age appropriate toys (usually better toys than I have!) and engages him in activities to stimulate his learning. She has taught him sign language, how to count, say his ABC's, and so many other milestones along the way. She takes him to the library, music class, and playgrounds on a regular basis. An unexpected bonus is she is also a fantastic cook. She cooks well balanced meals and makes sure my son eats a variety of foods. Mariana is very attentive to any concerns you may have and will work with you on any child-rearing issues. We couldn't have asked for a better babysitter for our son!

Mariana is an exceptional care giver. She has a loving relationship with all of her children.
