About Mariana

Hi! My name is Mariana. I'm a very friendly, positive, and caring person who truly enjoys being around kids. I originally went to school planning to become a 1st grade teacher before deciding to go in a different career direction, but working with children has always been something I've loved. I took three child development courses where I worked with a preschool class for two semesters and learned about different developmental stages and how children learn and grow. I also interned in a kindergarten classroom for a year, which gave me a lot of hands-on experience working with young kids. While I was in school, I babysat for two families with children ranging from ages 4-15. I understand how important it is to have someone caring for your children who you can truly trust. I always do my best to be kind, dependable, patient, and create a safe and positive environment for the kids I care for.
