I fell in love with care giving when I left the country at 16 years old to go take care of my sick grandmother. She was like a mother to me. While everybody thought she was crazy, knowing my grandmother, I knew there was more to it. When she passed away, I was determined to find out what happened to her, why the sudden change. I found out she had Alzheimer's after being in the field for a few years. I was devastated on how she was being treated all over again. My passion grew from that. I am determined to be a part of the people they will see, make them happy and good care in their last years they have left.
