About Mariam

Hi, my name is Mariam. I have been teaching math for 20 years and working with children with special needs for 10 years. My specialty is math k-12. I am a high school math teacher . I utilize a variety of methods to enable the targeted learner to understand the material and enjoy the learning process. I focus on a higher order of thinking in which I tap into the students rudimentary knowledge of the subject and I build upon their skill set. Additionally, I focus on their problem solving skills to enable and encourage the student to come up with answer on their own.
