Hello, my name is Mariam , I am a licensed Elementary School Teacher. My degree is in Curriculum Development K-12 and Special Education. I am currently in Grad. School, focusing on Child Development. I have 10+ years of experience tutoring elementary students in all subject areas. I've worked in the PWCS district as an Elementary/SPED teacher (grades K-5) for 4 years. I am great at adapting lessons to help cater to your kiddos different learning styles. I am very confident following the VA curriculum and assisting students to excel and build confidence. Mariam assisted our 1st grader and kindergartner with virtual learning during the 2020-2021 school year. She provided a diverse supplemental learning program for them and helped organize and follow through with their required school lessons. She created a wonderful school environment for the kids, encouraged them, and helped them develop their individual strengths. She also helped increase their confidence and further their love of learning! The kids will miss her dearly after the school year is over, but will always remember her as an amazing teacher and role model!
