About MARIA

I have been a guiding light in home care and hospice care for over 25 years, helping individuals and their families navigate complexities of aging and end-of-life with dignity and grace. I like a more intimate way of helping people and that is why I turned to in-home care giving. I am a warm, compassionate and caring person. My medical background and extensive experience in the field help me organize and provide exceptional care for my patients round the clock. My skills include dealing with people afflicted with Alzheimer's, Lewy Body, Parkinson's, Diabetes, Heart conditions, helping with their daily activities, social life, driving, checking vital signs, administering medications, using medical equipment, meal prep, monitoring and reporting changes in health and behavior, providing close communication with family and doctors. An extensive list of outstanding recommendations from families can be provided upon request. I've worked for 5+ and 10+ years at a time for some families.
