About Maria

I'd describe myself as friendly, caring, and responsible. I like working with kids because I have a passion for helping youngsters grow as individuals, as well as have fun! I started working with kids when I was 12 years old as a babysitter in my neighborhood and was a nanny for three years in high school. Additionally I taught as a Religious education teacher for a class of 30 kids for 5 years. In my spare time, I like to workout, play music, spend time with family and friends, and spend time outdoors! One thing you should know about me is that ever since I was young, I always was a caregiver. I grew up in a tight knit Italian community, and have been caring for kiddos ever since I was one myself! It is something I enjoy greatly, and look forward to meeting you and serving your family! My skills include finding creative outlets and games for kids, finding positive ways to deal with emotions or conflict amongst siblings; and housekeeping abilities.
