Hiya! My name is Maria. I grew up and live in Queens and I work in the arts. When I'm not reading, writing, or drawing, I love trips to museums, galleries, and parks. I am an experienced sitter (ages 4-8), tutor (K-2), mentor (ages 9+), and happy to work with kids 3 and up. In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was a live-in nanny for a family with two kids, ages 6 and 8. From 2020-21, I was a part-time sitter for a family with two kids, ages 4 and 6. In that role, I managed after-school pick up, dinner, and occasional overnights. I love fostering that natural sense of wonder that children have about the world.
