Hello my name is Maria but I go by LuLu. I have been caring for children since I was a teenager. I now have 4 children of my own and one grandson. I love spending quality time with all children i. e. doing daily activities, reading, coloring and playing games. I also incorporate field trips to the local swimming pool, parks, zoo, museum and others. As you can see I am involved and I don't let video games/TV babysit them. I am currently licensed by the state of Illinois and certified in first aid, CPR and AED. Have also attended many classes regarding childcare.

Maria "Lulu" was without a doubt the best nanny we have ever had. She took care of our daughter as if she was her own and became part of the family. She was with our daughter from only a few months old to 1.5 years old. Her time management and homemaking skills are impeccable; she has an attention to detail that is just hard to find these days. She is warm and loving, very responsive, and communicates well. With other nannies we had to do a great deal of hand-holding and teaching. Lulu just knows, because she has been doing this for so long, has a family of her own, and ran her own daycare at some point in the past too. If she were not established with her own growing family in Rockford we would move her with us in a heartbeat (we offered/tried though!). Her references were spot on--"They don't make them like LuLu anymore" was exactly the experience we got. We will miss her.
