About Maria

Maria was an extraordinary caregiver for our mother, who was elderly and living with dementia. From 8 AM to 4 PM five days a week, Maria took care of every aspect of our mother's daily needs with such consistency and dedication: bathing, dressing, medications, light exercise, and meals were all handled with genuine care and attention. But what truly set Maria apart was how deeply she connected with our mother as a person, not just a patient. Maria was completely in tune with our mother's sense of humor and joyful spirit, and she made it her mission to keep each day light and fun, even amid the challenges of dementia. We can't tell you how much it meant to hear the two of them laughing together. On the harder days, Maria's infinite patience carried not just our mother, but our whole family, through. For almost a year, Maria gave our mother this level of loving, attentive care, and our mother recently passed away. We will always be grateful for that time.
