As an experienced elementary teacher with extensive tutoring and childcare experience, nurturing young minds is a lifelong passion of mine. I am dedicated, patient, and calm, and enjoy bringing fun into learning to keep children engaged. I have a background in childcare for ages 2-15 and in tutoring students in 1st-12th grades, focusing mainly in English, History, Math, & Spanish. With a bachelor's degree and experience in both childcare and tutoring, I've developed a nurturing philosophy focused on helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom to build confidence and lifelong skills. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children and readily enforce household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games that encourage learning. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text or call.
