About Maria

For the past 9 years, I have taught a third grade transitional bilingual classroom in Chicago Public Schools. I am passionate about educating my cognitively and linguistically diverse learners! Most importantly, I strive to create a classroom environment that makes each child feel safe, valued, and celebrated. 15 years of extensive childcare experience from newborns to high schoolers in a variety of settings.
