About Maria

Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With seven years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504), allowing me to create supportive environments for diverse learners. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. Open communication with both you and your family remains vital to our collaborative progress. Ultimately, watching your confidence grow as you master new skills is what makes this work so meaningful to me. I look forward to helping you succeed on your own unique journey.
