Let me say right away if you have the opportunity to hire Maria as a caregiver for a parent or loved one DO IT immediately. She is amazing. I hired her for my 85 year old mother and I live out of state. Speaking to her on the phone i knew she was the one for my mother. I knew she would be able to handle my mom's stubborn attitude. Then when i met her and how she interacted with my mother i knew i made the right decision. My mother's memory is beginning to fail and she can be a challenge on a good day. Maria was able to handle my mother better then even me as her daughter. Maria needs no direction once she is given the parameters of what is expected. The first day she rearranged my mothers bedroom and bed to make it easier for my mom to manage her walker and get to the bathroom at night. None of us ever thought of that. Maria managed my mother's pills weekly in her pill container. She cooks food and makes sure proper water or liquids are consumed to avoid dehydration. It is obvious Maria has several years of experience with seniors or any person in need of care. I would trust Maria 100% with your loved ones. She is able to run them to grocery store or doctor appointment as needed. I know there are many qualified people on this site, but they would be hard pressed to meet her performance.
