About Mariah

Hello! My name is Mariah, & I have 3 years of caregiving experience. I find it to be very fulfilling work.. helping others, providing individualized, attentive, trained care to your loved ones, & listening to their beautiful life stories. My older sister was in an almost fatal car accident in 2022 and needed emergency surgery. I stayed with her in the hospital and helped her to use the bathroom & carefully move her body post surgery. This experience gave me the desire to help others in similar situations. I have provided care for three different families. My first patient needed minimal assistance & companionship. I am still actively a part of his life to today. My second two patients needed full assistance with mobility and daily living. They both were diagnosed with dementia. My third patient has needed respite care as they were unexpectedly diagnosed early in life. I am interested in becoming an occupational or physical therapist assistant.
